Lamborghini has a tradition of naming cars after fighting bulls. But while most of the Lamborghini names have been plucked from Iberian Peninsular bulls, Reventón was Mexican.
In 1943, Reventón took on famous Mexican bullfighter Felix Guzman. He holed the matador twice, but Guzman eventually killed the mighty beast. It was a short-lived victory. Having lost enormous amounts of blood, Guzman died in hospital shortly afterwards.
