Military FitnessStarted in January 2008 by Sean Cahill, formerly Sgt Cahill. Classes are described as a "physical blitz for the body". The instructors are all former military personnel. ThinkFit Boot CampWith fitness coach Karl Henry of RTÉ's Operation Transformation on board, this six-day residential boot camp located on the Kippure Estate in Co Wicklow involves plenty of hiking in the Wicklow Mountains, tag rugby, yoga and massage. The Elbow Room Boot CampLocated in Tig Roy in the Glen of Aherlow, Co Tipperary, this residential boot camp is advertised as a retreat for those who want to lose weight but lack self discipline. There are one- , three- or five-day stays. A typical day includes yoga, Pilates and hiking in the Galtee Mountains, fuelled by macriobiotic food.
