THE SOCIAL NETWORK:The bankers cleared out of the IFSC on Thursday night, and the arty crowd moved in. One hundred guests gathered in the caverns of Ely CHQ to celebrate the 100th edition of Totally Dublin magazine.
The food blogger Aoife McElwain attended with her boyfriend, Niall Byrne, a music blogger. McElwain will soon be releasing a series of food videos called Eat on Totally Dublin, while the magazine’s fashion writer and vintage collector, Rosa Abbott, will be opening a vintage shop at the Twisted Pepper. She wore a vintage 1980s sequin top she picked up in Leeds.
The singer/songwriter David Kitt was there with his act New Jackson and is heading to Wicklow soon to produce a record with Lisa O’Neill. The illustrator Fuchsia MacAree attended and gave everyone a print. Her style is “bright block colours and Irish humour”.
