Tana French, crime novelist
I'm looking forward to reading
A Room Swept White by Sophie Hannah (Hodder & Stoughton). The title really sells it. It's creepy stuff, which Sophie's things often are, quite necessarily. It's about a group of mothers arrested for killing their children.
I'll also be reading the latest book by my hero, Barbara Kingsolver, The Lacuna (Faber & Faber), who wrote The Poisonwood Bible - one of my favourite books. The book drew me into its world so much that I got culture shock just coming out of it.
My favourite place to read is up a tree with an apple or in the garden on a nice day. Anywhere I can get a minute.
Another one on my list is Arlene Hunt's Blood Money (Hachette Books Ireland). She's a crime writer as well and always says something really original and interesting.
