Hallowfest
Tallaght and the Dublin Mountains
South Dublin County Council has taken Halloween and made a two-day bank-holiday festival out of it. Hallowfest starts tomorrow at 3.30pm in Library Square, Tallaght, with fire jugglers, lion dancers, African drummers and samba dancers. It continues on Monday with a family treasure hunt (from 10am) to the spooky-at-any-time-of-year Hell Fire Club, in the Dublin Mountains.
Once you've reached the Hell Fire Club there'll be storytellers and spooky Halloween characters on hand to be scary all afternoon. If it's a clear day, take a minute to look down at the great views over Dublin city. All events are free.
