Stirling worksSonairte, the National Ecology Centre, is having an open day tomorrow. A special event this Sunday is a once-off Stirling engine exhibition. This will show how this 19th century technology is gaining increased attention in the battle against climate change because, unlike other engines, they can run on renewable fuels, such as solar power…and are even being researched by NASA to further space exploration. The centre will also host its bi-monthly farmers' market. For more information see sonairte.ie
