Trip to Tipp

You’ll get a “once a year” chance to check out a 13th-century castle and explore the bog surrounding it at Redwood Castle (below), near Lorrha, tomorrow. You can explore a bog hole, track hares and get a close-up on heathers and mosses. Old clothes and wellingtons are a must. The bog tour starts at 2pm, followed by the castle tour. It costs €10 for adults; children are free. Call 087-7479566 or see www.redwood castleireland.com.
