At 11am next Saturday a National Parks Wildlife Service guide will show you how to identify trees and discover their history, folklore, ecology and uses. The Galway Rat Race is an urban challenge that should turn the City of Tribes into an adventure playground for teams of two or three who will hike, bike, abseil, climb, kayak and navigate their way around the city’s streets, structures and waterways next Saturday and Sunday. Teams can enter the Mean Streets challenge on Saturday, the Nine 2 Five challenge on Sunday, or both.
