Ferret a top travel pet
When it comes to pets, dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets are our favouritecompanions. That’s according to Irish Ferries, which totted up the number of each carried on its vessels since the EU Pet Passport scheme was introduced. Ferrets get a top-four ranking by accounting for some 6 per cent of pets carried. “They are especially popular among rural passengers,” said a spokesman for Irish Ferries.
