A foodie weekend in Waterford
April 16th sees the third Waterford Festival of Food kick off, with jazz sessions, food tastings and farmers’ markets all in the mix.
During the weekend event, some of the country’s top chefs, including Neven Maguire, Derry Clarke and Catherine Fulvio, will give demonstrations; Darren Moynihan will give a bee-keeping lecture; and there will be children’s cookery demonstrations and tastings.
A highlight will be the all-day farmers’ market on Sunday, April 18th, while Lismore will have its own market on Saturday at the entrance to Lismore Castle.
