Sea SafariSome say boat is the best way to see the Giant's Causeway coast. Departing from Ballycastle, Co Antrim, local experts from Aquaholics will take you to Kenbane Castle then Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Sheep Island, White Park Bay and Portbradden before the Giant's Causeway.

Connemara walkingHidden Connemara Tours has a range of guided walks of the region. Operating a minibus from Galway coach station at 10am each day, tours include two two-and-a-half hour walks with a break for lunch. Routes include Diamond Hill in Connemara National Park, Omey Island, Máméan and Errisbég. The bus returns to Galway at 6.30pm. Tickets cost €25 (adults) and €20 (students and seniors). Clare IslandThe 17th Bard Summer School and Festival on Clare Island takes place from July 6th to 10th. This year the festival includes a walks to megalithic tombs on the island and of the 12th century Chartres Labyrinth. The labyrinth will be outdoors on the island's helipad. See bard.ie.
