Scandinavian cities for less
BOOK return flights with SAS to Copenhagen and Stockholm for travel in September and October and the airline will give you a free City Card offering savings on travel and tourist sites.
The Copenhagen and Stockholm City Card allows free entry to over 80 museums and attractions including the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. The card also gives you free transport by train, bus and metro. The card normally costs €31 but has twice the value in free travel and museum entrance fees: flysas.ie
Vintage cool in England
IF YOU’RE in the south of England next week check out the Vintage at Goodwood festival near Chichester in West Sussex. This is an art, fashion, music and design festival in which you will have heard of all the bands in the line up, which range from Sandie Shaw to The Damned. It will also include a huge gathering of vintage clothes sellers, with 160 stalls.
It’s been organised by Wayne and Geradine Hemingway (of Red or Dead fame), in collaboration with Lord March (who owns the Goodwood estate). It will be the first ever festival featuring The Faces. Vintage at Goodwood runs from August 13th-15th. It costs £55 a day or £135 for three days, vintageatgoodwood.com

The number of pets that will be accommodated at Disney’s new Best Friends Pet Resort in Florida. Opening on August 27th it will offer board, bedtime stories and a water park for around $37 a night.
