A NEW website aimed at over 55s has good deals in Irish spa hotels. See goldenireland.com for mid-week deals at hotels like Inchydoney, Westport Woods Hotel, the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore and more. Inchydoney has a Keep Active Package at €200pps mid-week which includes two nights BB, a consultation with a doctor and three seawater treatments. This deal is only for over 65s, while €149 gets you a two night stay at the Bridge House Hotel with one evening meal and a choice of three treatments in the spa.
The site also has a travel blog, packages for groups and general information on retirement.
Tropical Sky’s new shop
Tour operator Tropical Sky has opened a new shop in Dublin offering holidays to destinations from Africa to the Far East and Caribbean. MD Dave Hennessy aims to up business by persuading more people to go longhaul and by adding new destinations (tropicalsky.ie).
