Trinny London Stackable Mini Skincare Sets
I brought these on a recent trip, and if I’m completely honest, they made me feel slightly smug. Not only do they take up very little space and weight, but they are also wildly pleasing to use.
Trinny London’s bestselling skincare products in mini, stackable format are available in a series of sets organised by skin type and skin goal. The Non-Negotiables set (€35 from trinnylondon.com) is a great one to start with. It includes a miniature version of Be Your Best Enzyme Balm Cleanser and Bounce Back Intense Peptide Moisturiser.
Another great set to stack with The Non-Negotiables is Overnight Reveal (€48), which contains Plump Up Peptide HA Serum and Reveal Yourself AHA Exfoliant – a complete skincare routine in four cute pots.
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules Trio Tin
Equally impactful yet even more compact is Elizabeth Arden’s clever Ceramide Capsules Trio Tin (€20 from Dublin Airport Duty Free). This tiny tin includes 21 capsules that contain all the serums you need while travelling (and probably more): seven of the brand’s popular ceramide capsules for barrier building and repair, seven retinol capsules for anti-ageing benefits, and seven hyaluronic acid capsules for plumping and hydration. Use them together or individually; the choice is yours.
Sam McKnight The Mini Cult Classics Set
Don’t just bring regular miniature hair products on holiday; bring the best miniature hair products. Sam McKnight’s The Mini Cult Classics Set (€36 from cultbeauty.com) contains three of his brilliant “cool girl” hair products: Cool Girl Mini Texturising Mist (50ml), Lazy Girl Mini Dry Shampoo (50ml) and Happy Endings Mini Nourishing Balm (30ml), all packaged in a Cool Girl Travel Bag.
If you have no trips planned, I recommend treating yourself to this set anyway. It’s a great way to try Sam’s excellent products without breaking the bank.
Dermalogica Mini Milkfoliant 13g
The gentlest of exfoliating powders in miniature form gives you smooth, glowy skin on the go, and it’s suitable for even the most sensitive skin. Dermalogica Mini Milkfoliant (€19.50 from Dermalogica.ie) gently sloughs off dead skin cells while protecting the skin’s delicate moisture barrier. It’s a truly excellent product for all skin types, but especially sensitive, dry or dehydrated skin (and the tiny size weighs practically nothing).

Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Cream 75ml
I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve recommended Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Cream (€17.85 for 75ml from Dublin Airport Duty Free) and for good reason. An excellent, thick, creamy body cream, it drenches the skin with moisture, feels incredible, and smells like a summer holiday. The travel-size version is ideal for quick getaways and a bargain at less than €20. Several versions are available, including the original Bum Bum Cream (my personal favourite) and newer iterations: Delicia Drench Body Butter and Beija Flor Elasti-Cream.
Caudalie Vinosun Protect Invisible Stick SPF50 15g
Reapply your sunscreen with ease and protect your lips at the same time with Caudalie’s excellent Vinosun Protect Invisible High Protection Stick SPF50 (€18 from cultbeauty.com). This perfectly pocket-sized, non-sticky balm sunscreen glides on to the skin and leaves no trace (apart from a major glow).
This week I’m loving… Chanel N°5 L’Eau Drop
In 1960 Marilyn Monroe famously declared that she wore just a few drops of Chanel N°5 to bed. Drawing inspiration from her iconic anecdote, Chanel has introduced a limited edition bottle of its modern iteration, Chanel N°5 L’Eau Drop (€144 from Brown Thomas). This fresh, citrusy and uplifting fragrance features notes of lemon, mandarin and orange, seamlessly blended with jasmine, rose and ylang-ylang, and anchored by a base of vetiver, cedar and white musk. It’s an ethereal, memorable scent you’ll want to wear again and again.
