New Delhi - The death toll in an Indian heat-wave rose to 103 yesterday as 14 more people were reported dead in blistering conditions which paralysed a large swathe of the country, the Press Trust of India (PTI) said. Seven deaths were reported in the eastern state of Orissa, two in southern Andhra Pradesh and five in northern Uttar Pradesh.
Temperatures reached 47C in three towns in Uttar Pradesh.
