Moscow - A Russian cargo plane crashed and burned in a Siberian forest early yesterday, killing all 13 people aboard, a spokeswoman for the Emergencies Ministry said.
The Antonov An-12 four-engined turbo-prop plane disappeared from radar minutes after taking off from Krasnoyarsk airport in a heavy snowfall. It was carrying 13 tonnes of food from Novosibirsk in Siberia to the far northern city of Mirny.
The crash was the fifth involving an AN-12 in Russia since March 1997.
