An operation by customs officers and gardaí has led to the seizure of drugs, with an estimated street value of €150,000, at Dublin Port.

Two kilograms of cocaine was discovered concealed in a jeep, which arrived on the car-ferry from the UK last night, along with of €3,000 in cash and weighing scales.

A 22-year-old Limerick man has been arrested under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act and is currently being held at Store St Garda station. He can be held without charge for up to seven days.
