A 16-year-old boy arrested for looting during last month's riots at the "Love Ulster" parade in Dublin has been charged with burglary at the Children's Court.
The teenager, who is homeless and a member of the Travelling Community, was charged in connection with the looting of the Footlocker Shop on O'Connell Street.
Judge Catherine Murphy granted legal aid to the boy, whose parents were not present during the proceedings.
The boy, who lives in emergency accommodation for the homeless, was remanded on bail to appear again next month pending a decision from the DPP.
