Mogadishu - The Digil Salvation Army (DSA), an armed Somali faction, said yesterday its forces had killed 13 rival militiamen and had lost four of its own men in fighting this weekend.
DSA spokesman Mr Asad Mohamed Abdi said its forces had routed militiamen loyal to Somali warlord Mr Hussein Mohamed Aideed on Saturday to take over the town of Qoryoley, 80 km south of Mogadishu.
