Paris - Suspected Muslim rebels killed 22 inhabitants of a small Algerian village in a fresh massacre, while a bomb in Algiers wounded seven people yesterday, Algerian newspapers and residents said.
The Arabic-language Al Khabar said 10 children and six women were among the dead in the latest massacre, which took place on Tuesday night. Residents said a bomb planted outside the town hall in the Algiers suburb of Bouzareah yesterday wounded seven people, one of them seriously. - (Reuter)
