An award of £25,000 to the mother of a man who was killed in a road accident was approved by Mr Justice Quirke at the High Court in Cork yesterday.
Mr Ken Farrell, Glenbrook, Passage West, was a passenger in a car which crashed at Ballycurreen, Kinsale Road, Cork, on July 26th last year. He was 32 and single. The driver of the car, Mr Michael O'Donovan, also died.
Mrs Ann Farrell, also of Glenbrook, took an action against Mr Jerry O'Donovan, Pembroke Wood, Passage West, representative of the late Mr O'Donovan.
