The International Fund for Ireland has announced a funding package of £2 million to help small businesses in Northern Ireland and the six Border counties to develop the transatlantic joint ventures with companies in the US and Canada. The RADIAN (Research and Development between Ireland and Northern America) is open to companies with manufacturable tradeable services which are export-oriented and wish to develop new processes or products.
Firms are offered an initial grant of up to £15,000 to research the joint venture proposal and then possible further funding up to £200,000 to develop it.
