Spanish police have arrested three suspected members of a radical Islamic group near the eastern city of Valencia, but said they believed they had no involvement in the March 11th train bombs that killed 190 people.
The two Algerians and one Syrian, all in their forties, may have formed part of a radical Muslim cell which was under investigation, police said in a statement today.
The two Algerians may be linked to members of the Algerian Islamic Group who were arrested in Valencia in 1997, the statement said.
