The fund to help victims of the London terror attacks reached £4.5 million (€6.5 million) yesterday.
In the nine days since the London Bombings Relief Charitable Fund was set up, £3.5 million has been donated by members of the public and businesses. The government added another £1 million and the money is still flowing in.
Victims can expect a share of the fund and compensation from the statutory Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme.
