Motor harnesses manufacturer Wexford Electronix is to go into receivership, the company’s 400 employees were told this afternoon.
The future of the Wexford-based company has been in doubt for some time. In July, the company laid off 40 people, blaming weakening demand in the motor industry for its components.
Established in 1984, Wexford Electronix specialises in making cable harnesses for leading motor specialists in the European market.
