JOHANNESBURG - A South African court yesterday ordered a security guard to pay a £500 fine or go to jail for four months for brutally kicking a cat before thousands of spectators at a soccer match. The cat was later found dead outside the stadium. Boikie Raphela (42), also received a six-month suspended sentence and was ordered to do 1,200 hours of community service in the city's horse and dog unit. - (Reuters)
