Fifty-five sales workers employed by Unilever are to lose their jobs under the latest review process undertaken by the company.
The jobs losses are scheduled to take place over the next few months.
According to SIPTU Branch Organiser, John Dunne, the workers feel "let down" by the company.
"As far as we are concerned, the review was supposed to have taken all options into account, but management took the cheap and easy way - by deciding to outsource the jobs," he said.
