Just over 5,790 Personal Retirement Savings Accounts were sold in the third quarter of this year to bring to 83,790 the number sold to date.
According to data released from the Pensions Board today, as of the end of September, 79,494 employers had signed up with a PRSA provider under the employer mandatory-access requirements.
Over 33,270 employees have taken out a PRSA via their employer.
Of the PRSAs taken out to date, 64,111 are Standard PRSAs, and 19,679 are non-Standard PRSAs. The total assets under management are €646.61 million.
