At the Aero Club yesterday afternoon our representative had a short interview with Mr Frank Hedges Butler, the well-known aeronaut, who returned yesterday from Le Mans, where he enjoyed the novel experience of an aeroplane flight in company with Mr Wilbur Wright.
"Yes, like a bird I have flown," said Mr Butler, when asked for his impressions of aeroplane flying. "Looking back, it seems like a dream, and yet I have seen Mr Wilbur Wright fly for over an hour both by day and night. I have also seen 16 passengers, including two ladies, make a flight with him. What does it feel like to fly? There is no sensation whatever. One feels one has always flown. The only idea I can give is that it is like gliding over sparkling water, where you can see the bottom."
