Irish fuel prices have fallen for the first time in eight months, the AA reported yesterday.
The average price of petrol fell by 1.7 cent, to 132.7 cent per litre. The average price of a litre of diesel fell by 1.5 cent to an average of 124 cent.
However, motoring costs are still considerably higher this year than last year.
The AA’s Conor Faughnan said the reduction was “a relief, but only a slight one”.
