The mother of the newborn baby girl found abandoned outside a GAA club in Co Antrim has been reunited with her child, the RUC said.
The baby, weighing 6lb, was found last night wrapped in a white blanket and towel at the gates of the club on the Woodside Road in Ballymena.
The discovery was made by police after a woman in a state of distress phoned a local taxi firm to report that a baby had been left.
The infant was taken to Antrim Area Hospital but was reported to be healthy.
