Britain's Associated British Foods (ABF) today said it plans to build a biofuel plant in a joint venture with petroleum giant BP and US chemical maker DuPont.
ABF and BP will each have a 45 per cent stake in the £200 million (€29.72 million) plant, which will produce bioethanol from wheat at BP's chemicals site in Hull, England, and have a capacity of 330,000 tonnes per year.
