A legal action by a manager at the Irish National Stud (INS) over alleged bullying of her after she ended an alleged affair with former INS chief executive John Clarke two years ago, has been adjourned to July next.
At the High Court yesterday, Ms Justice Mary Laffoy was told Julie Lynch has also initiated separate personal injury proceedings over her alleged treatment.
Last March, the company agreed a settlement of injunction proceedings brought by Ms Lynch, INS stallions nominations manager. In those proceedings, Ms Lynch sought orders restraining the INS placing her on medical leave or being vacated from the house she lives in, provided as part of her job.
The orders were sought pending the outcome of her full action against the company. On March 23rd, the court heard the sides came to an arrangement and the injunction proceedings could be struck out.
