Dublin Theatre Festival has secured the talents of renowned actor Aidan Quinn.
The US film star will be a guest cast member in The Exoneratedduring its run in the festival.
The Exonerated, which shares the true stories of six innocent survivors of death row, has already been a hit in New York, Edinburgh and London.
The production has also attracted numerous guest performers including Danny Glover, Susan Sarandon, Mia Farrow, Alanis Morissette, Gabriel Byrne and Vanessa Redgrave.
Quinn, who starred in the acclaimed Song For A Raggy Boyand Michael Collins, recently returned to Ireland to join forces with his sister to film a coming-of-age movie set in 1970s Dublin.
The production, 32A, focuses on the point of view of a 13-year-old girl from the capital.
The Exoneratedwill run at Liberty Hall Theatre from September 29th to October 14th as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival 2006.
