The High Court has adjourned until tomorrow a case in which an interim injunction has been granted against a Belarussian family living in Waterford, restraining them from reducing their assets below a figure of £300,000.
The adjournment came after the Production Association Minsk Tractor Works and its Irish subsidiary, Belarus Equipment (Ireland) Ltd, agreed to release to the family a sum of £2,500 to cover their living expenses for the next fortnight.
The amount is in addition to a similar sum released to the family in the last two weeks.
In the proceedings, Mr Gueannadi Seanko, his wife Tatiana and their daughter Elena, with an address at Oakley Drive, Grantstown, Waterford, have been ordered not to dissipate or dispose of their assets below £300,000, or dispose of the proceeds from the sale of their house.
