About 250 Aer Lingus superintendents have been offered increases worth up to 20 per cent on top of the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness.
This brings the pay scale for grade one superintendents of £22,500 to £30,000 up to between £24,500 and £32,000. The rate for grade two superintendents of £30,000 to £38,000 goes up to between £33,500 and £41,000.
SIPTU branch secretary Mr Owen Reidy said his members had voted unanimously to accept the restructuring deal. IMPACT members are still balloting.
