The Department of Agriculture has started its own Aertel page on RTE's Network 2. Its main purpose is to detail closing dates for various headage and premia schemes operated by the Department, as well as covering ministerial announcements, information on animal plant health, farm management and consumer protection.
The Department also opened its own web site recently. The address of the Department's internet home page is http:// www.irgov.ie/daff. The Department of Agriculture can be found on page 505 on Aertel.
