Torch's progress The Special Olympics flame will arrive in Dublin this afternoon, one week after it began its journey around Ireland.
Several hundred thousand people turned out to see the torch which was carried around Ireland by more than 150 gardaí, PSNI officers and Special Olympics athletes.
Street parties and festivities are planned in Wexford, Wicklow, Kildare and Meath as the four torch runs pass through the counties this morning.
Route 1 will arrive in Athy at 9.32 a.m. this morning. The next stop is Monasterevin, followed by Rathangan and Kilcock.
Team Ireland will meet the torch run for the first time when it passes through Co. Kildare. It will run through Leixlip and Lucan before arriving at Phoenix Park in the afternoon.
Route 2 will reach Baltinglass at 9.08 a.m. and will travel through Newbridge and Naas before arriving in Dublin.
Route 3 will arrive in Trim at 9.19 a.m. before going to Ashbourne, Celbridge, Maynooth and Phoenix Park.
Route 4 will reach Gorey at 9.30 a.m. and will then continue to Arklow, Wicklow and Bray. A day-long party will greet the flame in Bray, with festivities planned on the promenade.
All four torch runs are due to arrive at Áras an Úachtaráin at about 3. 40 p.m. to be greeted by the President, Mrs McAleese. The torch run will then leave for Dublin Castle and is scheduled to arrive at 7.30 p.m.
The four flames will meet tomorrow morning in the city centre for the Liffey Swim with garda sub-aqua divers.
