London - The 60-year-old woman who gave birth two months ago yesterday said there should be no age limit on when a woman has a baby, providing she is "fit and healthy". Mrs Elizabeth Buttle said age should have nothing to do with motherhood.
"If it happens and you want them, then carry on," the woman told Sky News. Mrs Buttle, from west Wales, who gave birth to a baby boy, Joe, said: "There were many women in hospital half my age with all sorts of things wrong with them," she said. "If you're fit in mind and body it shouldn't be a problem. It's other people that make it into a problem."
