The Irish Red Cross Society (IRCS) and Concern are the latest Irish aid agencies to launch Kosovo appeals.
Concern announced yesterday it had allocated £250,000 for emergency supplies such as tents, plastic sheeting and blankets. Concern tel: 1850 410 510.

Unicef said it had completed a delivery this week which would meet the needs of 40,000 refugees for the next three months. Unicef Kosovo Appeal: (01) 878 3000.

The Limerick-based Friends of Bosnia-Balkan Aid has just delivered emergency supplies, including 40 hospital beds from Mullingar, to refugees in Albania. Friends of Bosnia-Balkan Aid: (061) 413038.
Earlier this week, the Government announced the allocation of £400,000 to the UN refugees' agency, the UNHCR, for relief projects.
