The Taoiseach, Mr Ahern, will hold talks with the Alliance Party today on aspects of the review of the Belfast Agreement.
The Alliance Party has proposed a more than 30 alterations to the scope of the review. The party returned with six seats in the recent Northern Ireland elections, holding on to its status in the face of gains by the DUP and Sinn Féin.
One of the key Alliance proposals is that the Assembly should be cut to 80 members.
