About 35 tonnes of emergency supplies will be flow by the Irish aid agency Concern into Albania tomorrow for distribution to Kosovo refugees.

The cargo, which includes medicines, blankets and vehicles, will be distributed at Kukes and Kruma.

Kukes is also the centre of Goal relief operations, although the agency is planning to provide additional aid in the coming weeks to refugees living with Albanian families near the country's capital, Tirana.

Other agencies such as Trocaire have split their efforts between Albania and Macedonia.
