Air France faces serious delays over pilots' strike

Air France said today it expected serious delays to traffic when its pilots go on strike from November 14th to 17th to protest against proposed changes to their retirement age.

"Air France forecasts very important disruptions to its activity," the company said in a statement.

It said it expected approximately half of its long- and medium-haul flights leaving from Paris to be cancelled on November 14th.

"We can expect more significant cancellations on long-haul flights the following days," it said.
