London - European allies lined up with Germany yesterday to freeze contact with Bosnia-Herzegovina's embassies to punish Bosnia's divided leadership which failed last week to agree on a list of its envoys.
By late yesterday, Britain, France, Sweden and the Netherlands had joined Germany in breaking off ties with existing envoys to Bosnia, while the US and Austria said they were considering similar moves. The international envoy to Bosnia, Mr Carlos Westendorp, called for the freeze on Saturday.
