Exploration company Aminex Resources today announced a pre-tax losses of $3.39 million for the six months to the end of June 2002.
The company said it slipped into a loss after tax in the interim but said there has been steady progress in its core business. It added it strong balance sheet and in-house technical capabilities enable it to continue to review and evaluate further opportunities.
The company blamed the loss on a slump in the absence of Komi revenue and high bid costs of €1.94 million. Group sales were €1.26 million against €6.076 million, with loss per share of 4.04 cents against earnings 0.49.
