Tributes have been paid to three Irish soldiers who were murdered by a colleague while on UN peacekeeping duties in Lebanon in October 1982.
Pte Peter Burke, Pte Thomas Murphy and Corporal Gary Morrow were murdered by Michael McAleavey at Tibnin Bridge, south Lebanon on October 27 1982.
Mass was celebrated at Cathal Brugha and McKee Barracks in Dublin and members of the 5th Battalion laid a wreath in memory of the men at the grave of Private Paddy Burke in Palmerstown Cemetery .
It was announced last week that McAleavey, 45, who is being held in Dublin's Mountjoy Prison is to be moved to Maghaberry Prison, near Lisburn, Co.Antrim.
