In our edition of December 4th we carried two reports which included criticisms of the refugee asylum application procedure and the status of legal advice provided by the Refugee Legal Service.
The Refugee Legal Service employs six solicitors who provide wholly independent legal advice and services for those applying for refugee status and who, at all times, in their professional capacity, act in the best interests of their clients. We regret any suggestion to the contrary in our reports.
