A former RTE producer and researcher, Mr John Caden, has been appointed as Radio Ireland's Controller of Programmes and Deputy Station Editor. Mr Caden, who received a Jacobs Award for his production work on The Gay Byrne Show, was also a senior Researcher with The Late Late Show.
He has also been a producer of Morning Ireland and Today at Five, the precursor of The Daily Record.
"It is a great opportunity to be part of the team which will shape the future of the most exciting broadcasting initiative that is Radio Ireland," he said.
