Writer Roddy Doyle has been appointed a director and accountant Mr Ossie Kilkenny has been reappointed chairman of the Irish Film Board by the Minister for Arts, Ms de Valera. Outgoing directors Ms Ann O'Connell and Mr Morgan O'Sullivan have also been reappointed. Also appointed were Mr Alan Gilsenan, Ms Martha O'Neill and Ms Margaret McCarthy MacIntyre.
