Jeffrey Archer is to be dropped from the elite listings book Debrett's Peerage.
Its experts decided he is no longer suitable to be listed alongside Britain's most influential people after he was jailed for four years for perjury and perverting the course of justice.

Lord Archer of Weston-super-Mare, who was made a peer by former British prime minister Mr John Major in 1992, is only the second person to be removed from Debrett's.
A spokeswoman for the publishers told The Mirror: "Debrett's is about celebrating achievement and going to prison doesn't fit that description. Our entries are people who are successful, whose careers are important.
"Since Lord Archer is now in prison I think you can say his career is over from our point of view."
Lord Archer's former Tory Party colleague Mr Jonathan Aitken was also dropped from the list after being jailed for 18 months for perjury and perverting the course of justice.
The Debrett's spokeswoman said: "This is an unusual situation - it doesn't happen very often that people listed in Debrett's are locked up."
The paper says Lord Archer's name will not appear in the next edition of Debrett's Peerage, which lists the aristocracy, or its version of Who's Who? called Debrett's People of Today, which names the 32,000 most notable and successful people in British society.
